AIB College of Business welcomes visitors to campus

AIB College of Business in Des Moines invites prospective students and their families to visit the college Monday, Nov. 5, beginning at 10 a.m.

Visitors will learn about majors, engage with students and faculty and tour the campus.

Admission counselors will share information about AIB’s cost-saving “Degree in 3” program – which allows students to complete a bachelor’s degree after earning an associate degree, all within three years – and explain how students can save even more money by locking in to one tuition rate for the duration of their undergraduate college education.

Financial aid will be discussed, including academic scholarships and military financial assistance for veterans. Athletic scholarships also are available in the college’s growing athletics program.

As an associate member of the Midwest Collegiate Conference in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, AIB currently offers basketball, soccer, golf, volleyball, cheerleading and competitive dance with softball and baseball teams starting competition in spring 2014.

More than 900 full- and part-time students enjoy AIB’s work-friendly class times, year-round schedule and the flexibility of choosing day classes, blended learning or online education.

Now in its 92nd year, the independent, nonprofit AIB is dedicated to the development of its students as ethical, productive and engaged citizens who are actively recruited as business professionals for a diverse world. Students self-report that upon graduation, an impressive 98 percent are employed or continuing their education.
