Three snowstorms in late December created an idyllic winter wonderland for the Gettysburg College campus. The Gettysburg area received several inches of snow on Dec. 24, Dec. 26 and Dec. 29. The snow was on the heavier side, making it perfect for building snowmen.
A gallery of photographs illustrates the wintry quiet of the snow, which occurred during the College’s winter break closing. Several of the photos were taken at sunrise, providing a beautiful backdrop to the snowy landscape.
