Gettysburg College recognized mid-year graduates Dec. 13 at a ceremony in the College Union Building Ballroom.
Families, friends, and faculty members gathered to honor the achievements of 31 graduates.
Chemistry Prof. Timothy Funk, a 2000 graduate of Gettysburg College, offered remarks on behalf of the faculty. College President Janet Morgan Riggs '77 welcomed the audience and graduates. A reception followed.

The December Graduates Recognition Ceremony honors students who have completed degree requirements in August or are expected to complete requirements in December.
December graduates are also invited to participate in the May Commencement exercises and will receive degrees at that time.
Founded in 1832, Gettysburg College is a highly selective four-year residential college of liberal arts and sciences with a strong academic tradition that includes Rhodes Scholars, a Nobel laureate and other distinguished scholars among its alumni. The college enrolls 2,600 undergraduate students and is located on a 200-acre campus adjacent to the Gettysburg National Military Park in Pennsylvania.
